Joe calls out Sen. Bill Cassidy after Trump vaccine order
On Monday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order reducing the childhood vaccine schedule from 18 diseases to 11 — an initiative of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In a social media post, Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-LA, called the order “wrong,” saying the move will make children less safe. But Joe points to the moment last year when Cassidy voted to confirm Kennedy as Health Secretary, assuring in a floor speech that Kennedy would not make changes to the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ recommendations.
