Ex U.S. Soldier Detained In India, ‘Suspicious Accounts’ Prompt Intel Investigation


A former U.S. Special Forces soldier has been detained near the India-Nepal border under suspicious circumstances, raising questions about his identity and movements. 36-year-old Jordan Brown, a California resident, was caught by villagers and later arrested by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) near the Sonauli border in Uttar Pradesh while allegedly attempting to cross into Nepal without valid documents. Authorities say he had no passport or visa and even tried to flee when stopped.
