Russian President Vladimir Putin’s talk of a possible end to the war in Ukraine could be another deception while he tries to distract from Russia’s own weakness, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said on a surprise visit to Kyiv. Ukraine and Russia agreed to a three-day ceasefire as part of a US-led push for peace under President Donald Trump, but both sides have accused each other of breaking it.
