Labour will be “smashed to smithereens” in this week’s Welsh Parliament election, Nigel Farage has declared.
Addressing a Reform rally in Merthyr Tydfil on Tuesday, the party leader branded Wales a “basket case” after more than two decades of Labour rule.
“Labour haven’t lost an election in Wales for over a century — think about that,” Mr Farage said.
“A party that has, frankly, taken Wales for granted for more than 100 years will, on Thursday, be smashed to smithereens by the electorate.”
