What is hantavirus?

The WHO has reported a suspected outbreak of hantavirus on a small cruise ship currently traveling across the Atlantic Ocean.
Currently, there are seven suspected cases, two of which have been confirmed to be hantavirus. Three individuals on the ship have passed away, and one is currently in intensive care. The WHO is currently investigating the potential outbreak.
