Brazil’s Abrolhos corals drop 15% as climate warms
Coral cover on Brazil’s Abrolhos reefs, the most biodiverse coral ecosystem in the South Atlantic, fell by around 15% over 18 years due to climate change and human activity. Researchers warn the loss threatened the entire biodiversity of the Brazilian coast.
