Powell: I’ll take Warsh ‘at his word’ that he’ll stand up to political pressure
When asked if he was confident that President Donald Trump’s Fed chair nominee Kevin Warsh will stand up to political pressure from the president, Fed Chair Jerome Powell said that he believed so.
“So he testified very strongly to that effect in his hearing, and I’ll take him at his word,” Powell said.
