Mali’s defense minister killed in coordinated attacks | DW News
Mali’s Defense Minister Sadio Camara has been killed in his residence in Kati near the capital Bamako. He died in a string of coordinated attacks over the weekend by separatist Tuareg rebels and a jihadist group linked to al-Qaeda. Analysts say this is the junta-led country’s most serious security challenge in over a decade.
