UK Chancellor of the Exchequer: The U.S. has ‘not been clear’ about aim of Iran war
Rachel Reeves, United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer, said at CNBC’s Invest In America Forum on Wednesday that the U.S. has “not been clear” about the aim of the Iran war.
“We are willing to play our part,” Reeves said. “But the Strait of Hormuz was open. There was no tolling a few weeks ago. Yes, we want to get back there, but I’m not convinced that this conflict has made the world a safer place.”
